Here are three fun facts that may interest you:

Number one, UCDTV is the only society that is one hundred percent committed to supporting the local indie filmmaking scene in Belfield and encouraging aspiring filmmakers to learn and practice their skills in content creation.
Number two, UCD invests a lot of money into their societies and because of that, UCD Societies have historically hosted holiday trips, musical productions, theatre productions, large scale events and even more.
Number three, Filmmaking is expensive… Wait that isn’t so fun.

Anyway what’s do these facts have in common? It is possible for us to help you make your own movie.

UCDTV has released the Assisted Production Form. A system that vaguely represents the film schemes of the film industry and the slot show applications of Dramsoc. Here, you can submit your films and if we pick you up, we will help you source equipment, host auditions and even more and make a movie throughout the semester. All while you maintain full creative control and full ownership of your finished film! What’s the catch? You credit us and we get to feature your film on our socials and events. That’s it!!

The Assisted Production Form is open at the beginning of each Semester and through it we are capable of choosing up to two short films a semester. We also have a more casual version for beginners.
