UCD Draw Society is a Visual Arts society. We are a community that aims to foster the creativity of our fellow students and create a space for everyone to come together and share in the joy of crafting.
What can you expect from DrawSoc?
🌈 Chill events like Crafternoons where we give you free rein over our colouring pencils, markers, paints, crochet, and jewellery supplies (complemented by hot drinks and snacks)!
🧑🎨Free workshops led by our own committee who have honed their skills in traditional and digital drawing, and fibre crafts like sewing, embroidery and crochet.
🖼️ Classes by guest professional artists from a variety of backgrounds!
🦋Collaborations such as Batik with Malaysian Society, Miniature Painting with GameSoc, Interpreting Paintings at the National Gallery with the Philosophy and Psychology Societies, and many more!

All forms of art are invaluable methods of expressing one’s personality, interests, and emotions – so it is incredibly important for students to have a space away from academic pursuits; a place to be creative, have fun and add some colour to your life !
