The History Society is heading to Cork. Yes, you read that correctly, for our annual domestic trip this year we have decided to head to the rebel county, the home of Michael Collins, Murphy’s, and Clonakilty pudding.
Applications are now open for the trip which will take place between Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd. History Society domestic trips are always guaranteed to be tremendous fun, and in choosing Cork, we have selected a city at the center of many of the pivotal events in Irish history (as the people of Cork love to tell us).
We would really encourage you all to apply for this trip. It is a great opportunity to get involved in the society, explore some genuinely fascinating history, and make some great memories. The cost of accommodation and events will be covered by the society.
Places on the trip are limited, so we would encourage you to get your application in as soon as possible.
