Calling all UCD students with a passion for science!
UCD Science Society is amazing for people in a science course, or anyone who just loves science! With over 900 members in the 2025-26 session, we are one of the biggest societies at UCD and bring you lots of amazing events every year. These events include Science Day, Science Ball, the Winter Fair, and so much more!
We also host smaller events each week, including our CoFe mornings (stop by for free coffee, tea and pastries), nights out, guest speakers, and pub quizzes!! These are an amazing way to get involved with other people who love science, or even just fill in your gaps between classes.
On top of this, we’re one of the largest student-run charities in the country, raising money for the Children’s Medical & Research Foundation, Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin. All proceeds from our events go directly to charity, so there’s no need to feel guilty after that night out!
