Welcome to the newly established Sustainability Society!
The UCD Sustainability society was started in 2023 by a group of BSc Sustainability students for fellow students who have an interest in Sustainability. Sus Soc has, at present, 432 members. We host many different types of events including clothes swaps, academic guest speakers, a sustainability winter formal with over 220 participants, a Spring formal, seminars, a sustainable fashion show, off campus socials such as pub quizzes, on campus socials and charity and fundraising events. We also host a monthly coffee morning called Climate Chats in collaboration with the UCD Sustainability Toolkit research team where students come to discuss climate anxiety. Although the society is new, our events attract a lot of attention from students and we hope to keep growing over the next few years. We encourage all students with an interest in Sustainability, climate change and social justice to get involved.
