Welcome to our UCD Malaysian Night (M’Night), the flagship cultural event hosted by Malaysian Society, specially for you! It is a full-length theatrical play that celebrates the rich heritage, diversity, and talents of Malaysians abroad. M’Night has long served as a platform to showcase Malaysia’s unique traditions, stories, and contemporary issues through creative theatre, music, and dance performances. As one of the most anticipated student-led events in the Irish Malaysian community, it brings together an audience of both local and international attendees, highlighting the strength and unity of Malaysians overseas.

When Dahlia, a kind-hearted young woman, and Fahim, her reckless colleague, are thrown into the mystical world of Malayana, they find themselves caught in a web of ancient curses, dark legends, and hidden desires.

As they venture deeper into a land ruled by mythical warriors, powerful witches, and shadowy figures, the two must confront not only the dangers of Malayana, but the truths they’ve long avoided within themselves.

But how do you find your way out… when the world itself wants to keep you in?
And when every myth comes at a price, what are they willing to risk?
