The 16th Session of UCD Musical Society is proud to announce the introduction of a new award this year in honour of Irish actor David Kelly. This award is to be received by those who inspire the members of UCD Musical Society through their contribution to the Arts.

We are delighted to present this award to Zachary James as recognition of his success in Musical Theatre. 

His experience includes:
– Recently finished playing Hades in Hadestown on the West End
– Originated the role of Lurch in The Addams Family musical on Broadway
– Member of original Broadway cast of Coram Boy
– Also in the original cast of (the Tony Award-winning) Broadway revival of South Pacific.
– Original Lincoln in The Perfect American (opera by Philip Glass)
– Won a Grammy for Best Opera Recording

The award ceremony will be happening I’m Astra Hall on Tuesday October 29th with doors opening at 7.30pm. There will be an on-stage interview and a wonderful performance from our guest.

Entry is €2 for members and €4 for non-members.
