Do you want to be a part of the coolest society on campus? Well, now is your chance! We here in the UCD History Society are opening up two positions on our committee: Ordinary Committee Members and First Year Representative. Please find below descriptions of the roles available. These positions will be filled via election at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the society which will take place in K114, Wednesday, November 13th at 18:30.

Ordinary Committee Member

The OCM is an essential part of any committee. In this role, you will be expected to assist other committee members and provide valuable contributions to the committee meetings which you will be attending. Please note, only members can apply for this position.

Freshers Representative

You may be surprised to hear the first-year representative must be a first-year undergraduate student (shocker!). You must also be a member to apply for this role. In this role, you will represent the first-year members of the society at committee meetings and relay information from the society to your peers and vice versa. The first-year representative role is a great way to get involved with the committee and society life.
