We are UCD Music Society!
This society circulates around music appreciation, and provide the opportunity for students from all musical backgrounds to practice, play and perform in a safe and encouraging space. We do what we can at UCD Music Society to facilitate artists wanting to move from student to industry level and aim to create as many opportunities for talent recognition as possible.
The biggest events in the society are Battle of the Bands, an inter-varsity competition between Trinity College and the Royal College of Surgeons, and the Performing Arts Ball with several other societies. We also host a range of weekly events, such as Jam Sessions, Open Mic Nights, Songwriting Sessions, Workshops and a contemporary choir. We love to see new faces at our weekly events.
