Welcome to UCD Nordic Society! 

We in the Nordic Society are eager to bring students with an interest or connection to Nordic countries together. Our society is dedicated to inspiring a sense of belonging and sharing the Nordic heritage with others.

Nordic Society offers a unique opportunity to explore and celebrate Nordic heritage in UCD. The Nordic Society is not just for those with a Nordic background—it’s a space for anyone interested in learning about new cultures, making it a great opportunity for cultural exchange. The Nordic Society is a great place to build friendships and feel at home. For Nordic students or those with connections to the region, the society offers a supportive environment where you can connect with others who share similar backgrounds, experiences, and interests.

One of our most cherished traditions is our weekly Fika, a gathering where we enjoy coffee, pastries, and great conversations. Fika is more than just a coffee break—it’s a moment to relax, connect, and spend time with the people around you in a warm and cozy atmosphere.

In addition to Fika, we organise a variety of events throughout the year, such as nights out, holiday celebrations, and more.
