An Cumann Gaelach
Tá an Cumann Gaelach ar cheann de na cumainn is gníomhaí i gColáiste na hOllscoile Baile Átha Cliath, le níos mó ná míle ball againn i mbliana. Bunaithe i 1908, is í aidhm an chumainn ná an Ghaeilge agus an cultúr Gaelach a chur chun cinn ar champas. Seo hé an 114ú seisiún den Chumann Gaelach. Eagraíonn an cumann réimse leithan d’ócáidí, cuir i gcás, Bál na Gaeilge, céilithe, ocáidí club oíche, rás bóthair, comórtas peile, ceardlann scríbhneoireachta, turais chuig Oireachtas na Gaeilge, tráthanna na gceist, díospóireachtaí, comórtas scríbhneorachta, Mock Dáil, oíche grinn, turas mistéire, Gaelbreak agus go leor eile! Chomh maith leis sin, tá obair charthanachta an-tábhachtach don chumann.
Freastalaíonn an cumann orthu siúd a bhfuil líofacht na Gaeilge acu, mar aon le daoine atá ag iarraidh feabhais a chur ar a gcuid Gaeilge nó ag tosú glan amach. Cinníonn ár réimse leathan d’ócáidí gur féidir le daoine a gcuid Gaeilge a chleachtadh i suíomh gan bhrú. Eagraíonn muid ócáidí dírithe ar an acadúlacht Ghaeilge mar aon le hoícheanta do dhaoine gan aon Ghaeilge. Bígí linn, tá rud éigin do gach duine! Is féidir leat téagmháil a dhéanamh leis an gcumann le ríomhphost a sheoladh chuig cumann.gaelach@ucd.ie. Anuas ar sin tá laethanach Facebook, Twitter agus suíomh idirlíon againn.
